Our goal at Nutechracingforum is to provide a place where people of all
ages interested in the Nutech Racing Radio Controlled hobby can come talk about
their hobby, share info, and just have fun with others that share their same
interest. While doing so we do insist that you abide by the terms, rules and
policies detailed below.
Keep foul or abusive language to a minimal – If you feel you need to
cuss cuss a dozen times just to show off your lack of intelligence, then keep it
in the Lounge. Other wise expect your post to be deleted and possibly your
account banned.
No personal attacks, be polite and patient – At one time or another we
ALL where new to this hobby, so please be kind to other new people in this forum
and hobby. Also just because someone doesn’t answer your post within 5 minutes
doesn’t mean everyone is ignoring you. It just means that someone with an answer
hasn’t read your post yet. Be patient as more times then not, you will get an
answer.
- Any member exhibiting behavior that is viewed counter productive to
promoting a friendly community may result in a temporary to permanent ban. This
will include but is not limited to publicly ‘baiting’ or ‘antagonizing’ other
users on the forum. ANY personal attacks will not be allowed in the forums
and/or Private Messages (PM).
No racial or other derogatory comments are allowed – Nutechracingforum
welcomes everyone of all colors, ethnicities and backgrounds. If you decide to
participate in posting ANY racially or derogatory comments, images, videos, or
audio – you will be banned for a total of two weeks, a second instance will
result in being permanently banned from the site and will never be welcomed
back.
No sexual references – Porn or other adult material is not welcome here. The
internet is full of places to find adult material, R/C nor nutechracingforum
needs to be another place for that kind of material. (If you have to ask if it’s
adult material more then likely it is and don’t post it).
Do not post PERSONAL INFORMATION (i.e. addresses, phone numbers, passwords,
personal identification numbers, images) or any other information considered
private without the express permission of the individual. You must respect the
privacy of other members. nutechracingforums has addressed privacy concerns by
allowing users to set-up their accounts so that e-mail addresses may not be
displayed to other users, but rather moderators and administrators only.
Spam/Links- Links to personal web sites (whether it is your site or a friends'), other forum sites, etc. are frowned upon and may be removed at any time if it even smells of spam. Spamming is not tolerated anywhere on this site, including (but not limited to) posts, comments, blogs, profile visitor messages, shout box "shouts", gallery messages, etc.
There are other links that are tolerated however. An example of tolerated links would be when posting an excerpt from a news story or some other article OR posting some cool game or quiz that might be of interest to the community. All other personal or "check this site out" type messages can only be placed in personal signature (don't make it look obnoxious) and/or your "custom user status". A website can also be displayed via the "Homepage" link on all your posts (by editing your profile) and filling in the proper URL field.
Creating topics saying "Hey, check this site out" may be removed, and you will lose your access privileges if repeated (not to mention the negative impact it would have on the board advertised).
Reporting Posts - If you feel a post is out of the ordinary, please use the "Report Post" button. You can find a red triangle above the member's location. This will notify the moderators by e-mail for quick resolution.
No vague subjects – Don’t post a thread with the subject, “need help”, we know
you need help, tell us a clue in the subject.
Keep threads related to the forums in which you are posting – For example, do
NOT put For Sale posts in anyplace other then the Baja Sale Section. Failure to
do so will result in moved or deleted threads.
Directly quoting or posting the content of the ’subscribed’ forum anywhere
other than the ’subscribed’ forum may result in a temporary to permanent ban.
This is a code of ‘ethics’ and an established trust.
Do not post in ALL CAPS!!! - Using ALL CAPS makes it hard to read, and it’s
annoying. It is also considered “YELLING” while on the internet. SO PLEASE DO
NOT YELL, this will only get your post locked or deleted.NO cross posting
– Do not post the same topic in more than one location
Use good grammar and spelling – If English isn’t your native language then
please say so. Otherwise its very annoying and hard to read TeXt THat LoOkS LIkE
ThIS. This isn’t a spelling bee, but please try your best at spelling.
Do NOT try to increase your post count with junk posts (aka post whoring) –
Posting threads or replies with a three or four letter post is wasteful in many
ways. Don’t do it!
No Promotional Posts - There is to be no posting of commercial activity. This includes but not limited to posting banners, contests, sales, or request to have people visit your site. If you have a business or web site that you would like to promote then please Sign Up for advertising. or contact us.
That means that anyone selling anything on the forum should be either a Banner advertiser, or a private seller.
Do NOT create private threads - Example: Hey Johnny what’s your email address?,
I have enabled Private Messages. Use them, not the forum!
No Warez (links) & Cracks: help, requests or posts that discuss circumvention.
This includes linking to illegally obtained software, movies & music files –
posting about it, and suggesting to get it.
Signatures:
- No more then four lines.
- Banner /Images – Banners are to be no larger then 468×80 and you may have one
line of text as well.
- Signatures larger then the above will be suspended without notice.
Attaching Images – If you post an image into the forum please make sure it is no
larger then 640×480 in size. Anything larger causes it to destroy the layout of
the site and reading the thread very hard.Avatars and User Titles – Keep them tasteful, while nude hot chicks are nice to look at this isn’t playboy.com so don’t turn this place into one. Keep all
avatars and other images clean and related to R/C as possible.
Don’t believe everything you read – Nutechracingforum.com is full of members
with different opinions, experience, and/or reasons to post in the forums. Take
time to do some research and get more then just one or two members advice.
Use of Smilies – The moving avatars are a hoot, but when there is a thread full
of them it gets annoying real quick, while at the same time slowing the site
down. Please limit your use of smilies to 2-3 per thread.
Any discussion of AD BLOCKING software or instruction for using ad blocking
regarding this forum or any other discussion in general of attempting to block
advertisement will result in a no questions asked permanent ban on your account.
This is not done lightly, rather deliberately to deny access to those who choose
to utilize this forum, but not support our sponsors. It takes money to finance
the cost of bandwidth, especially a forum of this size and if you don’t care
enough to support us through our advertisers, then we don’t need your business.
This will be the only warning with no discussion.
Site Concerns/Staff Disputes- If you have a problem with the site, it's decision and policies, or with a particular staff member you are to bring this to the attention of the administrator immediately. While we welcome public opinion and suggestions on how to make our site a better place we expect you to directly contact us, through private means, about serious problems before running your mouth off. If this is not done, your posts are subject to removal or editing by our staff to protect Nutechracingforum.com so the administration can take appropriate action.
Account Punishments- The same guidelines as set out in "Site Concerns/Staff Disputes" must be followed. To spell it out further, the reason why a person is suspended, banned, or perm-banned is between the parties involved. It should not be a matter of public concern nor should it be brought up by those not involved in the situation
Moderators and Administrators frequently review forum messages for those that
are in violation of Nutechracingforums rules. Any messages found to be in
violation will be deleted without warning or explanation.
Multiple forum user accounts by the same person are forbidden. Should you ever
wish to change your user name, please contact one of the Administrators.
Nutechracingforum.com reserves the right to edit, reprint, distribute, or
delete any posting for any reason and without prior notification or explanation
to the author.
All messages posted become the property of Nutechracingforum.
Nutechracingforum.com and its representatives will not be held liable for the
result of the usage of any information provided in the Nutechracingforums
Forum, and disclaim all liability resulting in the use of the posted
information.
