So I got my replacement drive cups from CML weeks ago to replace the "soft" ones, then I had the car sitting around for weeks waiting for the correct length A arms, finally I get to run the car Sunday and after two tank ALL four diff cups are worn out!, so another full strip down front and back and who is going to replace the diff cups now?
I thought the cups CML sent were the new hardened ones! I guess not, they just sent a set of "soft" ones to replace the original "soft" ones, nice.
So, lets see how good Nutech customer services is:
Can I have four "new hardened" diff cups please?
And yes I'm going to post this on the "new" Nutech forum too.

Are the center ones fine? 2 tanks and that much wear is odd for sure. I am going to have a closer look at mine today as I have a pre production model

ouch... that sucks, you definitely have another old set:(...i've 3 tanks on the new type and not a mark on them..I hope the centre diff ones and the outdrives are all upgraded now too as both also show excessive wear prematurely like the diff cups

thats highly annoying, must say the 'upgraded 057504's' have a different finish to the ones in your pictures, seems you got the old ones im afraid.
we have the new updated ones in stock, they look like this
not the best pic but they have less of a 'shine' than yours.
will snap a better pic later this evening

I think it's more to do with CML... as long as nutech sent them to CML..
not to be smug in anyway but same as clubin, Scott at Van hobbies sent me the new ones the same day he got them from nutech... i dealt with the dist and let him deal with nutech
Unfortunately now there are revised parts coming but still a bunch of bogus old stock floating around...lets hope it doesn't turn into a crap shoot
i would hope that nutech are giving their distributers credit notes for all the bunkum parts they bought and still have in stock hanging on their walls (ie old diff cups, diff cases and outer housings, short arms etc) or are replacing them piece for piece with no cost to the dist or those guys lose money on parts that are no good...relationships can sour quickly when people have to pay out of their own pocket to replace factory revisions of inferior parts and then customer service goes out the window.
I hope you get it sorted quickly,

nope, all the feb 2010 run were good with the new parts so nothing to worry about...this is relevant to the punisher as the early ones from last year didn't have the revised bits...
