ok, I have a question for you distributors to ask the mfgs.

How do you bind receivers to the radio? manual says diddly and I have been over the radio and see no bind button anywhere. I even tried any tiny holes with a point and nada. turned the radio on holding individual buttons while powering up, tried combinations of buttons... and nothing in the menu either

so what's the deal?

the thing that looks like a crystal on the front doesn't come out either, just tried that too

I have to ask because I have 3 different types of 2.4 rx's here and wanted to see if any would bind to the radio.

on the rx there is a button that needs to be pushed,(top right on the rx) it says it in the manual.
then the LED flashes and then you turn the tx on and when the LED stops flashing then its binded.

worked for me
hope this helps

isn't the button on the rx for setting the failsafe? most 2.4 radios have a bind button on the radio too, that's why I asked. just seems odd to me that there isn't.

oh well guess I can't use these other rx's then

Some transmitters have the bind button the transmitter and some come only on the receiver which is how the Nutech 2.4ghz are I have also seen some come with a bind jack that you plug into the receiver.

On the receiver there is a F/S Set button for the fail safe and another button labeled SW which is the bind button, with the transmitter off with and the receiver on just push the SW button until it start flashing fast, then turn on your transmitter and your receiver light will stop flashing and stay solid.

Here is a better manual I found for them

well if that's the case, you can't bind a spektrum sr3001 pro, or fly sky/eurgle 2.4 ghz rx's to it. bummer

I just bought 2 new nutech rx's. the new rx's have a blue label. my lcd radio came with an rx with an orange label. I tried the way above and even opened the manual to check and can't bind these new rx's to my radio. I can rebind the old one but the light doesn't stop flashing with the new ones...

grrr

ok ran into another issue yesterday. I had to get a new radio to work with the new blue rx's, so I have 4 rx's with this radio. and 4 with my spektrum so I can cover all my models and have a spare rx of each.

I put 2 Tower Pro servos (1/4 scale digi steering and a 945 throttle). This radio won't work with the Tower Pros. Works fine with Hitecs and even Airtronics digis bit does not like the Tower Pros at all. Turns on but servos don't even buzz. They work fine with the Spektrum

That's peculiar, wonder why that is.

yupper, very odd. I thought all kinds of things were wrong. not a big deal because I run mainly hitec servos anyway
