Never tried to boil a tire off before so today was my first attempt, note my wife was at work so I thought I'd use one of her pots.... so I put it on the boil and the phone rings, it's my pal and he needs a tow out of a ditch, I drop everything and go......guess what I remembered when I opened the door upon my return :omg: house is full of thick black grey smoke and there is 2 foot of flames coming out of the pot. I think I'll just purchase tires from now on :with stupid:LOL

At least you didn't burn the house down. :omg:

I'm speechless....but I'm sure the wife won't be. :mad as hell:

O mate, glad that's the only thing you've charred.

I dislike ovens for the same reason: close the door and forgettaboutit..:dots:

Holy krap, you are lucky. I have done it numerous times it is easy, only you realy don't need to simmer it that long.

Ya know looks like you just might have agood soup base started there. Just add some vegggies, some buckwheat, salt and pepper, and you should be good to go. You could call it NuTech soup. LOL

a friend of mine is moving to the island, 10 mins from Errington. He'll be looking at getting his 5th scale from you Scott. Just don't teach him tire boiling LOL
