Hi guys,
Snapped a head bolt on a 4 bolt head. There's nothing poking out..it's quite someways down there.
I'm thinking about drilling it out, but doubt I can do it without knackering the thread.
There's this tap bit that unscrews a screw as you tap the thread..what's that tap called?

easy out in your part of the world..drill a hole in the screw and the easy out screws in left hand and bites into the screw...if that doesn't work you can drill it out and insert a helicoil if you bugger the threads
EDIT: you beat me to it Bentley:)

Good luck, I have a feeling you are not going to have fun extracting that one.

Ton of relief: all it needed was a pair of pliers/grips and the snapped part was extracted with ease.
Thanks Mark for you help today =)

It wasn't..when the head came off, there it was sayin "hello, what took you so long"..poking out the top of the crank case...result!!!
