As above really, does your Punisher/Thunderbold II stop when you apply the brakes?

Mine seems to run on for another 20 meters or so before stopping! Pretty rubbish really!

Mine locks the wheels when I apply the brakes. Are the brake pads adjusted on yours?

I haven't touched the break setup since buying it last week. Will investigate later this evening.

My turning circle is equivalent to a barge too!

Yea, the brake pads screws needs to be tightened so it looks like it's going to be rubbing. And then back it off a smidgen.

Then set your end points for brakes =)

Hope it helps.

Forgot to mention. Rubbing the brake discs (both sides) on sand paper, both cleans the discs of grime/oils and also makes the discs more abrasive to the pads =)

I did try that, normally what I do on my nitros but it still isn't braking too well.

Thinking about sticking a Savox 1268 in there for throttle/brake instead of that Hitec 645 that's currently in there.

My steering seems quite limited though, there servo has a lot more movement in it than the steering allows. Have a Multiplex Rhino 4 servo for that.

Curious that, we have to have a look at your brakes when we meet up.

Ya the steering is a funny one, the cup on the hub side actually collides with the dog bone before the knuckle touches the hub.

The Rhino is plenty power for steering =)

For throttle and brakes, I'm running a Hitec 5745, and can lock the wheels..but only when the brake discs are freshly scrubbed with sandpaper.

I have altered the handles on the disk to have maximum arm length.

ootb there is still 4 mm room for more arm length

but still not optimal barking for me. i will get me also a Hitec 5745 and see.

can it run on 6V, guess so?
also I am investigating hydrolic disks on the wheels so 4 disks is more then 2 right?

any experience with that on a TB2?

Hitec 5745 does run on 6v.
