We can tweak our suspension geometries till the cows come home, but there's a simpler way to improve cornering: wide the car..

The front arms of the FTX Destroyer are around 25mm longer than the Punisher ones, that's AN INCH each side!!! TWO INCHES overall!!

Enough said. Punisher tweaking options just gotten that bit more sweeter!!

Here's to find out more:

I like the tb2 stance. wider will not corner as sharp... yes it will be more stable but there is always a trade off to everything

Well you would be suprised. It corners better with the wider arms It turns in much better than before.

you kids! Good luck with it all, wide arms will have to wait for a month or 2 - car insurance is deemed more urgent :(

Mud we all know what happens when you push a little harder mate.

Cant wait to see some videos of the wider punisher in action, id have a trip up myself but im in need of some spares and im pretty skint at ther moment so its having to wait for now, looks like im gunna have to replace all the diff cups axles etc and a new servo for the t/b and new tyres as iv done a mud and destroyed them on the concrete, nigel when i get some cash youve got some coming your way buddy :punk:

hope you do well at nene and good luck to you both

:punk:

edit: upon further inspection think i just need a set of diff outdrives for the front and a servo, im gunna try boiling off the tyres and spinning them around for now. thats better news!!

try a little acetone for the tires. put some in a bucket. put the tire then cover. fumes are enough. the acetone loosens the glue but the foams don't get damaged like when boiling.

alternatively you can heat the oven to 350, turn it off, then slide the tires in on a cookie sheet. wait about 10-15 mins and pull them out and pry the tires off while wearing oven mitts. they get warm but not all sloppy. you can repeat if necessary.
