After bending a second aluminum servo saver on my TB2, I decided to get a little creative with it. I went to my local LHS and purchased 8 Aluminum standoffs for a dual servo setup.
(Yes I know they're orange, that's all they had in stock)

Next I got a hold of 2 servo savers from a Smartech Titan and put 2 Rhino Digi 4 servos on there and set them in place on the TB2.

Using masking tape I laid out the holes in the chassis and drilled and countersunk the screws holding the servo standoffs in place. After that I laid out the screw pattern for the Redcat Fuel tank I used.

I used a radio box from my Smartech Titan and also mounted a FG radio box to the top of it, It's a tight fit, but it does fit.

Here's a small video of the steering working.

Nice bit of work there mike nice, $20 for the posts not bad at all :punk:and if ye don't like the orange get your self some drain cleaner to deionize it to the alloy and polish them up, that will finish them off just right.
This is a very nice mod indeed for every one that wants to go the 2 x servo way fs racing servo saver and mcd, red cat will work to.

Thanks Lee. It's good to hear that those other parts would fit. It'll make it easier for others to do this mod to thiers.

Thanks Mud,
I got the ackerman plate at FG Supply in the US.

looks good, i see you had to hack off the cage for the redcat tank...that was my stumbling block when i looked to do the dual servo mod cos i was too lazy to reweld it..in the end I modded a rampage bottom servo saver arm to fit on the top of the nuey bottom part, i'd snapped 1 alloy saver and 6 plastic ones til i did the rampig part mod...Scott at van hobbies came up with the idea after a few beer.

Yes, but I brought the cage to work and rewelded the ends on up by the servos. :yahoo:

I drove out to Brooks Alberta today with my Nutech TB2 and my FG Beetle!! What a blast! :yahoo:

I forgot to bring my camera with me :beat dead horse:, but Yolanda21 was there taking a few pics. I hope he can post them up for everyone to see. The dual servo setup worked great!! The only issue I had with it today was a screw came out of the steering knuckle at the bottom, otherwise it was turning back and forth nicely!!

It's for the Carson Gas Devil and Smartech Titan, so it will fit the Nutech/FTX vehicles too.

Hi guys just thought i would let you know that the above steering link, it doesn't work with the nutech set up
I have one here, ive tryed to mod it to get it to work properly im still not happy,i cant get full lock on it with out having to mod something else, even with the cvd,s still no full lock. May be i missing something but i don't think so ive tryed everything.
so for what its worth dont bother save your money , i think the nutech steering link is good enough.
