Most of Titan users have the same problem of dog bones popping out.
Our new gear box with Internal outdrive spring which can prevent the dog bone pops out. can use on Titan series platform.

i figured that much.
what about the diff housings? that is the other weak spot of the titans as it flexes and strips the crown-pinion. any alloy ones or stiffer plastic one coming???

We have plastic and alu diff housing now, both can hold silicone oil
Due to the construction is different from Titan, have to buy full set including gear and drive cup to replace Titan diffs.

that is not a problem most titan owners are changing everything as either the plastic diff case cracks or the diff housing bents. both lead to the same result. no action at the back of the truck.

the first option is great for center and front as the titans need tuning with oil. the secong cast alloy housing is the most needed part for the rear so the titans can handle some extra power.
i cannot wait for them to be available in Australia.
chances are when i ll be back from Greece they will be waitting for me.

bloody photo.
it has a silver like color.
o guess it is different material than the titan one.
yesterday i had the truck pushing against a wall and i cound see the gearbox flex back as the pinion was skipping on the crown. this is what happens with every titan that has some extra power and some sort of lock at the center diff.
I mentioned this when I first heard from Chris about the TB2, nearly a year ago, and what he says is true, the gearbox housing has been made slightly smaller and more rigid. This will help a lot, but for monster power, the alloy gearbox option will probably still be necessary. I think you guys are gonna like the price of the alloy parts, they aren't dirt cheap, but they are cheaper than FG and MCD.

FG and MCD are very expensive so i guess anything cheaper than that does not make it cheap. if they are cheaper than baja parts then yes they are good price.
i believe everybody knows that they will upgrade sooner or later so they try to calculate the cost of that when buying. i believe this is what killed the titans. you had to upgrade to make the truck operational and then you ended up spending more than an MCD or FG so the initial low price just vanished.

Our price of parts will be a reasonable price. :)

Could there be something wrong with the springs in your diff?

No I have had the diff's apart and where the pin goes through the slot in output shaft is starting to burr causing the shafts to stick.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe take a file to the shaft to get rid of the burrs?

is it the pin that is burring or the shaft?

the pin is fine, is the shaft burring! and yes a file fixes it but I wouldn't like to pull the diff's out all the time to fix this!!!! On the TB2 they are fine anyway, doesn't seem to matter if sprung loaded.

Thanks for the heads up Brian. This way we all can keep an eye on them. ;)
