Are there many upgrade parts available for the Thunderbolt 2 out yet? Such as aluminum.

Clutch Bell Carrier as far as I know and VP has one just not in production yet.

The option parts which are confirmed already are the following...

CNC center diff mounts
CNC front upper and lower arms, CNC rear lower arms
CNC steering knuckle (though this is a standard part so I don't know what the difference is, apart from the fact that the pic I have of this part shows black anodising on the upgrade part, to match the rest of the car, my model has natural colour knuckles).
CNC front and rear shock towers (not sure thickness, would like confirmation)
CNC anti-rollbar mounts
CNC upper front arm holders (lower arm holders, aka arm brace/hingepin holders are already alloy front and rear)
CNC front C-hubs
CNC servo mounts
CNC engine mounts, 2 piece.
CNC clutch bell carrier
Alloy diff cases (cylindrical diff cases housing plaetary gears, not diff 'covers'. For CNC diff 'covers' see below).
CNC aluminum brake disc (this is the only option part I don't see a point for, suggest Nutech consider making an improved braking set with carbon fibre disc and steel calipers (pads).
CNC Rear hubs
CVD universal driveshafts to replace dogbones front and rear
Alloy tank cap
CNC diff covers (bulkheads).
Steel vented clutch bell
Adjustable lauterbacher style 3-shoe racing clutch.
Tuned dual exit rear mounted pipe

We are going to wait until we know the release date before confirming when things could be available

I hope so.

I have been toying with the idea of a 2 speed as well
I am looking at the 2spd in the FG's and converting one to fit in the Demo Titan that I have. There will be a little bit of work machining out the gear centers and moding the FG second speed clutch (Clutch will spin at a higher speed) but nothing a lathe wont fix :)

Maybe an upgrade that Nutech can look at doing in the future

We are planning to have 2 speed kit and reverse function kit later for the TB2. Originally ,our 4WD design reserve the space to have 2 speed function.

Personally not interested in two speed for off road (but many others will be). Reverse could be interesting, but again I don't think I'd use it. Gearing options will be important though.

Now that sounds like something to look forward to seeing. :excited:

I agree with Foxy 2 speeds and reverse are toys and are just a gimmick! for serious racers they are not even considered. But we must look at selling points as well for these cars and if the general consumer wants it then let them have it! As for those of us that look at every LS car for racing then forget it:D but yes a selection of gear ratio's is deffo the first thing to look at!

Surely, we will have more option gears coming later:good idea:
