I did use ten M05*20mm bolts, maybe i change those to 16mm.
And maybe sharpen those tips... Also i can add ten more bolts...

Now just waiting for snow.. (AND my car!) LOL

There is about 100g extra weight per tire, so i think there is no problem.

Keep in mind I look at everything from a racers point of view. LOL That would be close to a pound of rotating weight on all four wheels which is a bigger HP eater more so then static weight. Now it you are running two wheel drive will not be quite as bad. Being we RARELY get snow where I live I have no need for snow tires. :D

I have seen many use sheet metal screws. Let us know how they work.

If weight is a issue, 1:5 scale car is not the best option :)
yeah, i know what u mean. (btw, 4wd =)

Here, there is no snow-races, just fun drive :)

In FG cars i did use bolts etc, worked fine.

.

This is why I keep my 1/5 scale 5b SS around 23 pounds. I do all I can to keep it light and will be doing more later like more CF parts. Yes for bashing they should work fine. I know one race I went to a guy was running sheet metal screw in his tires for traction but did not go over very big with the track owner. LOL
