Got this pipe in the mail today from bentley (little brother in NZ). In the package are 2 little plastic washers, can anyone tell me where they go??. The pipe is off his sandstorm.

The spacers fit between the alloy bracket and plastic diff housing

Got the pipe all fitted up today, but wasn't happy with the way it sat. The pipe was crokard and sitting hard against the shock bracket.

So I made up a new bracket that screwed onto the diff, sat the pipe a bit lower and a bit more to the right.

I agree, not very dirty yet. Have you had a chance to run the pipe yet?

Had it running and it sounds alot better and seems to be alot more responsive to a throttle blip. Havent taken it out, my son is still crook and he wants first go with the new pipe so I dont brake it again LOL. as for dirty, sand is about all we got here, so the car only gets dusty, blow the car out with compressed air and wipe over the body and it's clean again:D

Maybe some real pipe?
Imho that option dual output pipe is just for looks, not for power / torque?

It does not fit to TB2, mainly because of rollgace and tank.
Little modification to pipe, and it will fit.

Yeah, I think you are right with regards to the Dual Pipe. Looks great but not really an upgrade for speed. Plus missing that crisp screaming sound that drives all neighbors nuts!

I had my Thunderbolt 2 on a track on Sunday with the dual pipe, it performs pretty good. If the weather holds off this weekend, I'll get a vid of it in action. :yahoo:

Running it here on the 29CC Thunderbolt II. Just some noise missing. But looks stunning!

It's got to be better than the can muffler that came with the car, I havent had a chance to try it yet, It's all packed up in a box ready for a house move next week.

I haven't even bothered starting the Car up with the standard Can. Just put the dual straight on.

I will give anything a go.
