I received my MT sample in the post today, looks like it may be a good runner! I will be making a video on the weekend to see how it behaves. Here is a picture for size compared to the Redcat MT, close in size but the Redcat is quit a bit heavier so the Nutech should be more agile.

They're also held on with beadlocks instead of glue. ;)

Have you thought about doing beadlock rims for the Nutech line Chris?

The Mega Monster is looking good, but is it just me or does it need some type of front bumper? Maybe it’s just how I drive my cars, but I think the first noise dive is going to kill the body.

And I did give it a run in today after closing time, silly me didnt bother to pack the rx and batt into the box properly as it was just a quick run in, what could go wrong:D
Well after cruising around slowly for few mins I noticed someone watching so gave it a blat...........throttle servo wire came loose and off she went full bore, bounced off my car tyre, then gutter, then another gutter then finally into a steel fence before it flipped over and I was able to get to the kill button:eek:
Hardly a scratch on it, lesson learnt will fit a pico and setup the radio box properly before next run:o

At least no one got hurt. Was there much damage?

It's a scary experience with a run away 1/5 scale. Had mine take off at about 3/4 throttle due to the throttle servo lead breaking a wire so the failsafe didn't detect anything wrong. It ended up getting lodged under a ute and breaing the spark plug off.
I ended up making up a cut out that fits to the throttle servo so as soon as it looses power it cuts the engine

This is why I will not run with out a kill switch. :D

Nothing at all, popped a ball joint off and that was it.
There is a guy here in the states that lives on the ocean and he had a run away and his baja went off a cliff into the ocean never to be seen again. He got another baja and the first thing he got was a kill switch.
Would be bad to damage your RC but even worse if you hurt some and they take you to court.
I do not have my TBII pro yet but I do have a kill switch, a new Rhino digi 4 servo and a new Lauterbacher Adjustable OFFROAD 4-Shoe clutch for it and several engines.
