Merry Christmas to you....you lucky bugger. ;) I'm sure you'll like the Nutech MT. That 28.5 and VRC pipe should really make it get up and go. :excited:

I decide to get rid of my rampage TT, tired of constantly repairing 2 rigs so now have a digi4, laut 4shoe, killswitch, spare ported 28.5 with windowed piston and reed block  also will have a spare 813 and nomadio rx ready for the next one...if the MT goes well then eventually i'm thinking a sandstorm pro would be a nice addition to my stable:good idea:

My MT has landed in Canada:yahoo:
unfortunately it's now in the hands of Canada customs:mad: so will be at least a week languishing in a corner somewhere waiting for the customs man (they're so slow i'm sure there is only really only 1 man working there) to stamp a request for money on it

Hope they are not like UPS and up date their tracking numbers on the weekend. Does any one know if this will be delivered to me by the US Post Office?

My sample came via EMS but the tracking numbers work with Canada post as well, maybe try your tracking number on the USPS site?
Thanks Gas Jockey! Yes the tracking number works with the US Post Office but not any more information on it then on the EMS site. I was not really expecting it till first of the week at the earliest. I am 55 years old and I feel like a child waiting on Christmas. LOL

after getting more info from Sean at obr I've nexxed the 28.5 top end in favour of the 27.2 4bolt full mod zen long block with ceramics, higher revs and more torque than the 28.5 and slightly less torque than a 30.5 but waay more revs
so pipe and long block should be on it's way in next couple of days:excited:
at only 27lb my MT is going to fly

you might have beat me by a few minutes bud, but i'm here at gas jockeys looking mine over, sweet...clear body and lcd 3 ch radio too:D...will be stripping it down tomorrow and findin out how it all fits together....:good idea:
Moo you will have yours running LONG before I do as mine is a all most RTR. I still have a few items to get and with it being this time of the year might take me a little while. As most know this is a big holiday week then Christmas is right around the corner.

mine wont be up to speed as Sean is still waiting on the pipe, so my 27.2 and pipe will be at least another week but I'll run it stock ...if it quits raining...for review to post on the various forums and i want to see how it runs stock compared to gas jockeys (which i drove yesterday) which just has a shred head stack and his modded ...extremely loud:eek:...boat pipe. Man his truck flies...I'm starting to think i may be over motoring mine with Seans best engine after driving a near stock one....nah no such thing as too much power...right?;) should be interesting to say the least.
Was super impressed with the speed and agility...totally different to drive than my dino-ramp (have to call my rampage the moosaur from now on cos it's sooo slow to react in comparison steering wise:D) and at 10lb lighter my full mod 30.5, propiped moosaur would have a stock, bar the pipe, NMT on it's heels and wouldn't be able to shake it off... probably get passed when it started on the corners...now that is impressive!!

As soon as the rain stops (been raining here for weeks) I'm sure Moo and I will get a race day organised. Be able to tell how these things will handle themselfs with a couple insane pilots behind the controls LOL
Gas Jockey do you have a track?
VancouverHobbies
11-25-2009, 10:37 PM
Yes we do but unfortunately it's unusable right now due to the amount of rain we've had in the past month:(
When it dries out will you please post pictures of the track? Is it just large scale or do you run everything on it or have more then one track?

11-26-2009, 08:54 AM
Yes we do but unfortunately it's unusable right now due to the amount of rain we've had in the past month:(
Send some of that rain this way LOL
We haven't had any for the last 2 months and 45 deg days. At the moment our local track has cracks big enough to loose a buggy down
mooman007uk
11-26-2009, 03:41 PM
you're welcome to it
gj's track is for 1/5 as none of us run little trucks anymore...it's wet and in the process...when it dries a bit ...of modification when i drag my asv tracksteer down there and work some magic
Cool post some pictures when you can. Does his track have any jumps?
mooman007uk
11-26-2009, 04:19 PM
yep, got a double and a single and semitabletop and once i get my machine there it'll have a couple of BIG jumps,, tabletops, triple etc...Scott sketched out some ideas and I got a couple so we'll take the best of both and build a sweet track...i'm also trying to locate some land near me to build one on...2 people left to approach that have what I need...one is a well old disused gravel /sand pit and it's the one i'd really like to get my hands on
