Great day with lots of public attending and checking out all the cars hopefully a few sales for me in the process:dance:
They even invited the Major of Taupo city and he was very impressed to the extent of looking at buying a car for himself!!!! Great to have the local council behind you!

We had a working bee on my local Hamilton track last weekend and changed the track layout! Is alot faster and maybe easier for the Bajas to keep up with Nutech 4wd :dance:

Another interesting thing yesterday, one of the guys brought down his radar gun checking speeds down the main straight approx 40m long from apex to apex and the results were

Fastest 57kph
Myself with Nutech TB2 Pro & equal with HPI 5T std apart from a Jetpro pipe

2nd 54kph
Std Nutech TB2 straight from box

3rd 52kph
Baja 5B

All the rest of the Baja's around 44kph

There was 6 Nutech cars there yesterday there should of been 8 but couple didn't turn up. 2 of the 6 were my cars TB2 Pro & Mega MT.

Yeah is a great track! pritty lucky here, have our local track then 2 others within 150k's north and south of me! and all different and surfaces.

Yep my TB2 goes real well now I have gone back to Zen 2bolt 23cc:D and I am using Nutechs X-can on it good low to mid but lacking a bit up top, but the extra revs from the 23cc makes up a bit.

Deffo had some fun yesterday with the car as it was only a fun day not racing, but still kicked some Baja's:D

I love the elevation changes ... man that looks like a fun spot to run. Our local spot is basically an oval which to me is boring. I prefer hitting the dunes and making a landscape track (depends what the workers have left as it's in the boggy area so they pile sand 30-40 feet to settle the area before they can build)

I'm getting withdrawals watching your vids, smack dab in the middle of winter here so we seldom get to run! and bye the way if you were in North America that would be considered the correct direction LOL! Nothing broke just a couple of cracks in the rear of body due to landing hard on it's bumLOL

It is factory colours, but close to my colours:D At least where I am winter is only wet and cold no snow:D Haha yes I guess that would be your direction!

This was our opening meeting for 2010 and just a fun day normal meetings we do 3 heats and A/B finals. We had 16 cars and there was a few new guys and cars there 6 Nutechs 2 himoto ramps, 1 x Traveller 1 x MCD and the rest Bajas. Final is just being uploaded now as I had to trim a bit for youtube!

Mods are great but will be better tested on my home track to have a good comparison, the Taupo track is alot rougher as in the vids you can see my car bounces around quite a bit as I didn't change the suspension setup. What I really need is 2 cars:no: may have to look at the Mega MT to be a donor car for a second buggy with wider arms and if I can get more suspension travel from out if it for rough tracks:excited:
