ok i am currently rebuilding my fg beetle as we speak,i have a new paint job done and some parts coming to get it up and running,like upgraded clutch,balldrive,extra hydrolic brakes etc etc

i will have it finished next week and will be setting up track on beach..:excited:

this one here is old school probably one of my first fg videos with an o neill bros 27.2 raceported motor & jetpro v2 pipe.

a golden oldie. it was a funny video actually me and girlfriend couldnt believe the power so we got maybe a little too excited :D hah

WELL i decided to share my first TESTING video after finishing my fg beetle.i am delighted with it.all i can say is MADNESS.......its litterly uncontrolable,dangerous even......i will not run this around anybody for saftey sake......i know the jetpro is a mid/high END pipe but i have never seen one of these to lift front end at high speed lol its crazy!!!!!

the rear end was litterly swaying the whole time from left to right with the power,its is just AWESOME..........im delighted with it now.

as i say this is just a test video in my local football field,i will have a nice PROPER video coming soon where i will set up a track at the famous inch beach kerry. { CANT WAIT}

what a lovely family evening out.......even my small man agreed lol

ok lads i have FINALLY got my fg out in the dunes with a layed out track.ME & my beloved fg beetle in the dunes at our best.this is famous INCH BEACH KERRY,there is some awesome r/c track possibilitys here with beautiful scenery.

this is probably the best fun i have ever had R/C related.i have a very busy schedule ahead as im going helping a friend to finish his house so it could be a long time before i get a video again.man it was so hot today,damm global warming lol i spend some time chasing after beetle to right it haha lol all fun....

OK just said i would show all the doubters the real power of this beast,believe it or not yesterday at the beach i was using worn out clutch shoes so all i was getting was lots of slip and slipping rpms,BUT now this beast is a totally differnt ballgame,my new clutch shoes came today fitted with a reinforced clutch spring,what can i say works AWESOME.

i think the video says enough.

this is my fg beetle with an even better fine tuning and new clutch.

this is top shelf as far as r/c engines are concerned its pumping out a staggering 7hp {{i have certificates}} and it repersents a perfect balance of power & relibility over others.

it was a special order as the same tuners now stock just 23cc & 26cc these tuners have won a lot of world championships with this engine.

the porting work is beautifull and very agressive.
CAD G270 SPEC:
CAD engines are produced in germany by a company callled xandi modelbeau.this producer has won championships world wide for years with onroads/offroads.....my engine CADG270 is now a special order from him and hobbythek have to make special order as he is after going up in price from allready 750 euro.....

what i was saying here is the beauty of this engine over any other is its BLUEPRINTED and machined to EXACT tollerences.........so even a very powerfull motor it would benifit from excellent reliability over OTHERS.

im running a stock clutch right now,i presume if i run a fg 3 shoe it would perform even better

Dan hoping my Thunderbolt II Pro Racer will be shipped next week. I have a Lauterbacher adjustable 4 shoe clutch and a Multiplex RHINO Digi 4 Steering Servo waiting for it to get here. I all so have an engine but not sure which one I am going to put in it. But I have to get off my butt and finish them.

i had a crowd of spectators behind me around 20 was fun..... {trying to avoid them lol} just messn...

So i got out yet again today with my fg beetle went to an apsolute cracking spot for offroading.....
this is the best FUN i have ever had with my fg.it is a great spot with gravel heaps & huge running area,on top of that lots of muddy runs at the side with steep embankments as if pre laid on for the monster lol .....& MAN IS THIS FG ONE TOUGH NUT...

i got 3 videos today but i wont have the onboard one up until tomorrow as it is quite long.
i didnt use body shell as i had camera on beetle,the onboard and normal view were filimed at same time so you will see onboard version of these 2 vids tomorrow.

looks like you had fun, just a thought tho... i know you're running hydros...gravel is fun til you get a rock jammed between the hub, disc and arm:( i bent 3 discs, a dps arm and tore a screw outta the top of an alloy upright with my old fgbaja running in the stoney stuff so had to quit the gravel pits...

hello moo yes that can be,its easy to re-straighten them..:)i can honestly say that years of bashing in gravel all i hever done was bent discs.

Well what can i say this has to be the most fun i ever had with this monster,it is just awesome.it is like its built out of steel (well it almost is i suppose lol)

this area is just mad,full of all sorts of terrian for the beetle,the only thing that caused my fun to stop at the end was a lost wheel nut....lol

this took a mega bashing today here.

too much money invested in this thats why im in the process of building an all out BASHER to run alongside with the beetleLOL shhh i will keep it quite until its ready........basiclly moo it will get the s''t driven out of it...........nd YES it will be here in this place to be destroyed lol

my beetle is too heavy for anything heavier it needs tlc its not designed to be bashed any heavier in this state as the shocks wouldnt cope and i would bend all around me.

still it got pushed hard in these 2 vids also,the area is not easy....rough enough.

and it held up 100percent,its unreal tough;)

LET ME SHOW THE MEANING of offroad....

bloody saturated here,rough,bumpy,the roughest terrain i have ever set tyre on as i do a lot of full scale offroad driving in my nissan patrol this area i would consider for a 1/5th extremly challenging. beetle didnt miss a beat & got it home in one piece.
