Hey everyone,

Well thanks to Mooman and pwaicon i've been taking an interest in nutech lately.

I'm a former owner of a baja 5T and switched to a rampage MT, which I love, but i was thinking of adding another 5th scale to my collection and nutech looks like the trick.

Problem is I know nothing about these cars, need to do my research and then see if Scott can hook me up with a good deal.

I can't tell the diffecence with body off between Sandstorm, Thunderbolt, Megamonster and fuego!

Can anyone quickly enlighten me, just the basics?

Thanks,
RV

Welcome. Where are you located? :welcome::welcome::welcome:

Sandstorm is a truggy, Thunderbolt is a buggy and the others are monster trucks. Look to the left at the advertisers and the one at the top is the factory link. I have the Thunderbolt II Pro Racer kit.

Thanks, just a ferry ride from Moo in Vancouver.

46 can you tell me the difference between these four cars?

From what I can tell the chassis and most on the chassis are about the same. The big difference comes in the A arms body and roll cage. Since I only have the TBII PR I am sure others will be able to tell you more. Do you have any experience with RC land vehicles?

There is not alot of difference in the chassis platform and layout of all the off road cars

TB2 Buggy & Sandstorm have all the same components just the different body's and associated mounting hardware.

Mega MT and Feugo 5T use longer suspension arms and bigger shocks.

Hope this helps you out!

Yes of course been in and out of rc since I was a kid with my first tamiya frog. I've had a baja 5t and currently own a rampage mt.

I sound like a n00b but was hoping to get technical differences between the four vehicles.

Awesome thanks! I like the Feugo alot, that will probaby be my choice. Do they use CY engines? (I think so, but just checking!)

:welcome:Hey bud, good to see you over here...I'm responsible for a at least a couple of ramapge defectors nowLOL
only difference between base models is as already mentioned arms and shocks, cy26 is the standard motor and you get a 3ch, lcd 2.4 radio from Scott too.
The pro trucks have all the alloy upgrades and use 7075 aluminum for the chassis as opposed to the softer 6061.
