Here are some pictures of the pipe! as for the pictures before, our engineer told the exhaust header was wrong, so I correct it.

The pipe doesn't need a name Chris. 'Nutech tuned pipe for Thunderbolt based models' will do just fine.

Has any one tested this pipe on a dyno? I know how this style works on a nitro engine wondering how they work on the engines we run.

The pipe looks good and it fits the buggy really nice, but I feel the performance will be a disappointment. I am sure it will perform better than the stock can though. I am looking forward to seeing a video of the pipe in action.

Hmm.

In pics, it shows blue silicone hose from header to pipe?

I got black hard hose, and today customer burn hole for that hose on second tank...

The FG connector tubing works good, it is a bit of a bugger to get on, but it works good, I have used it on my HPI pipes. I just cut them in half, they work good for me.

I am sure they work much better then the stock exhaust and certainly looks and fits great for the buggies but a 2 stroke really needs a tuned pipe with an expansion chamber to get the most performance out of a 2 stroke, I have the same exact style and look on a SY Racing buggy I had here for testing, after testing there MT I doubt I will bother testing the buggy but I was curious about that exhaust so I will try it out as soon as the snow finishes melting around here and the ground dries up.

As for a name I concur on Nutech TBII Tuned Pipe if you ever come out with others you can name those specific to the vehicles as well.

Here are some pics of the dual pipe that came on the SY 4wd Buggy

anybody know of a tuned pipe there making for the punisher not one that has rubber bushes connecting a manifold pipe to the exhaust.

i still have the stock one i have made an extension out of copper
i think it has given the car more back pressure i will get a couple of pic's on later also sounds amazing too.

Check the jet pro thread. sweet looking pipe made for the Nutech specifically. I am loving mine.

I have a Jet Pro on mine as well. It's a beautiful pipe and makes some great power!

that particular pipe design is nice to look at but for power you are going to need a good expansion chamber just as stated... the jetpro is an excellent pipe for making big power gains.

Jetpro does have a nice pipe for the TBII and I along with Scott from Vancouver hobbies are working with him to get him the Mega monster and the GT5-R so he can build pipes for them as well.

Yup, I'll be sending Dino a MT beginning of next week, I also received my first Jetpro order of TB2 pipes and silencers. At first glance it looks like the TB2 pipe will work perfect on the MT but not 100% sure as I've modified my stock cage to suit the FG Beetle body. I'll know for sure next week.

speaking of cages I need to see your pipe and rear body mounts so i can get yours welded up:punk:

I'm a newbie and I need some advice about this dual pipe from Nutech. I have the Mega Monster Truck coming and I added this pipe with the 26cc motor. Now after reading this thread I am a little concern, I was wondering if someone here can tell me if I should go with this pipe or maybe there's something better. Thanks in advance for your help.

Maybe the pipe needs a better hose? Any ideas Chris?

will have to change the material of hose.
