wanted some elcon springs for centreing the bones as they are the best option...so couldn't find any in N.America, went to order 10 from hobbythek...10euro for them and... get this... they wanted 8euro to ship these tiny parts to my mum in England!!!! (i daren't use my canada addy cos their shipping rates have become retarded to ship here...guess they're not happy making enough on fg parts so now rape everyone on shipping) so i said no way Jose so bit of digging around and bingo...the springs in the plastic rx packs that take 4 AA batts are perfect...any AA battery slot spring will work....:good idea: way cheaper than about $25 for 10 tiny springs

moo let me tell you a thing or two about hobbythek........they are not nice at all......

they reccomended an ONROAD filter to my girlfriend and sent it with cad engine when she bought it, and denied it later on when we wanted to return it........sad as she clearly pointed out that it was needed for OFFROAD ......they are full of it...

i will place as little as possible orders with them in future,i used be mad with my orders with them,YES your right there shipping is retarded.......god knows how many hitecs they sent me that failed and then when i would return them for warrenty they claimed to never have got them back (well one or 2 times this happened)

straight and simple they are too expensive, yes they have good stock but at a price.......

i will say that i hope for 2010 i will do all my r/c orders with nutech and most if not all of there parts are fg compatible.

nutech have turned me against other rip off r/c companies such as fg and dealers like hobbythek.

nutech have too proven that there r/c are good out of the box.........at least you can drive them when new.....

the gt5-r was bulletproff just for tiny upgrades.

my fg beetle cost me a small fortune to make it run properly, never again would i do it......

but now i have it and its nice to have it,sure is a tough mother.

well nutech will be sending me all of my parts i hope for future.:boxing:

You thing they are bad for shipping to the UK man I ordered 3 DVD's cost was 55euro shipping was 45euro, cost of post on the package 12euro, now that is blatant rip off! I also asked them about sales tax, as on there site says prices inc tax but then I asked no is without!

Great mod tho Moo, never thought about using them and have plenty in my shed!

being honest i dont know why any of us/rc users shop with hobbythek as i think they are mean....

i have placed so many orders, and never got any thing at a discount, unlike ddm which actually give generous discounts.......

ohh how selfish of me to forget if you place an order some times over 100euro you get a free calender WOW...:beat dead horse:

ahh i know they are only trying to do buisness but they DO over charge,taxes/shipping is a bad joke..

only thing good is guaranteed 3 day shipping, now that is the one thing they are great for,but you pay......
