Hi all ive just be checking out the tb2 well i was thinking that the center diff underneath the chassis well don't you think its a bit open to the elements like stones as such is there a sort of guard to protect this diff gear wheel just like the fg setup

i was thinking of an alloy plate chamfered at the front and bolted on...the the ring gear doesn't actually stick out below the chassis and as yet i've not had an issue and I've virtually no paint left on the bottom and have scaped over some pretty big bundies, (cundies,gibbers) our ozzie memebers will know what these are...lived in WA for 18mths and never forgot the lingo:D

I haven't had a problem with mine either. I think that having the teeth facing backwards helps stop anything getting caught in the teeth
