Hello all, I followed ya here from RRF. I have 2 rampages and 3 e-maxx's, 2 are brushless. I'm looking at the tb2 pro series for my next 1/5 scale... I'll follow this forum and see how they come along, pre production testing looks great. Keep testing and upgrading these things before I buy one. Both my Rampigs are v1 and fun but I don't drive them that hard... I want a buggy that is track worthy and can take some abuse but still affordable, but don't we all...

I am with you Ron. I have been watching the vids since I first saw pics posted of these. I was one the early Redcat owners and got rid of mine. I have a Redcat Rally now, but it's a different world on road to an mt. I am a big FG fan because of parts durability, but let's face it.... it's a 20 yr old design. You get tired of wrenching after 20 mins of play after a while. I am anti HPI, and even though a Baja is awesome, I just can't (yes I have a Hot Bodies but it's unique lol). You have to upgrade everything they sell right away. They supply the upgrades right away too, so they know it needs it but don't ever include it... oops sorry, early morning rant taking off.. allready had 7 cups of coffee
cheers and welcome

thanks for the welcome everybody.
i've looked at a lot of nutech video's in the last few days, look good. I see a lot of rampage owners here. I like my rampages for grass tracking and light, smooth jumps but... I want to jump/bash a little harder now and think a TBII may be in my future, not sure if i'll get the pro or rtr. I'll wait and see if I need the pro or if the plastic rtr holds up. I have an all alum mt and a stock tt and all I run is the tt so the TBII rtr may be good enough for me. time will tell and I don't wan't to be the tester this time, you guys perfect it then i'll buy one. more driving, less working... thats my goal.

the plastic parts seem to be indestructable on my MMT and the buggy uses same stuff but shorter arms. I've abused my pretty good and only broke 1 c-hub when a bone got spat out and a couple of rear ring gear teeth when i lost an upper arm bolt and a bone got jammed before parting company. I've never owned or seen anything as durable.

I have the RTR TBII. The only upgrade that I have done to it so far is to upgrade the rear and center diffs to the alloy because of the extra power (have been told that these have been modified in the new models as mine is one of the first batch) Have upgraded the motor to a 27.5 cc race ported zenoah and a VRC side pipe.
As far as the supension arms I haven't broken anything yet and seem to be very flexable

great news Ben, thanks for your responce... Iwas about to pull the trigger on a 5b rtr 2.0 for durability reasons but you guys are sucking me in to the Nutech era. The price is about the same. I'll watch a little longer then make a purchase. thanks, Ron E.
also: Ben that pipe is awesome... lets see some video, PLEASE.
