tvp's cool. I remember a company in the Phillipines were working on a similar design. Gladiator or something like that. People were dying for it to come out and never heard anything more about it...

HPI bought the rights to the K1 gladiator and buried it...guess they must think only they can have a savage (1/8 at that)
and that one was chain drive with a tank outside the tvps, this one is shaft drive with inboard midtank

As for racing then my choice is 4 wheel drive coming from a 1/8th scale off-road.
However back in my tenth days I loved 2 wheel drive.

They both look awesome, so maybe I will have to take both,LOL

i like the slick look of that diablo,the gears look really good..

i think its nice to have a good option of 2wd and 4x4.......i love 4x4 but 2wd is convienient also for less moving parts & wheelies.

can i suggest nutech consider a comp spec chassis in future;)

would be a nice choice for higher spec option cars.

wow the nutech 5th scales look great... i've watched all the vids and spoke with the testers and i'm sold. now wich one to get, love the mt to bash, the tbII for poss track use (no local 5th scale track) but that white beetle with the white wing and wheels - AWESOME. I love my maxx's and rampigs but nutech is a level above, way to go, i'm in.

I love the beetle and the diablo now if you mixed the 2 and added some MT wheels then you would be talking. 2wd monster beetle oh and add some sand paddles all that would add up to lots of fun on the dunes.

I like the MT pro but for myself personally i'm not a fan of alloy arms for bashing...I've bent too many in the past...the plastic on the MT currently is perfect...super tough.

I really like the TVP. I remeber the one Moo said HPI bought. I didnt realize they bought it. Probably thought it was competetion for their 5b? Or maybe they wanted a 4wd for the future? Those 5Bs and Ts are overhyped and overpromoted for what they are. I love the bug body "dont have acces" to view the pic either. I keep getting the message "you dont have permission to view this" or post this on lots of things all over the froum and I cant log in sometimes. What gives?

But also i'm very worried about air filter.

How to mount better (bigger) air filter, depending what kind body car will have.
But worst case, if that handle what is highest part now in car, when put bigger air filter, then that will be highest part and takes all damage from roll-over...
(in that case, might broke carb or engine block also)

if you use a hpi with angle shred head it'll be about the same height so will be protected by the body at the rear...it'd probably sit under the top of the body mounts

the air filter if you think it would be a problem then i would recommend a dual sponge filter with a outerwears filter over the top of that so if you were to rumble and tumble then the filter will just get squashed not a problem i use this sort of filter on my gassers

Another new product for 2010, CNC alloy gear box prototype. Can fit Nutech 4x4 cars and Titan/gas devil.

it was make by FIORONI
for marder FG, but i have no sucess
a torsen is not good for 2WD,but now it is very good for 4WD
to put it on TB2, i have change bearing,an put a Smarthech gear, after
i going to modify for breaking, but people say me , it was better to put
it at the front , what do you think about this?

I have been used torsen in 1:1 and 1:8.

I think torsen is best in center, but works also in front.

When used in front, turns better.
In rear, it might weak turning plus nice drift :)

Torsen has only one weak point, but that is not issue when bashing or driving on track.

fiorini stuff is expensive. I used some firoini when I was driving for GS Racing. and that was 8th scale. I ran a torsen in center but would loved to have been able to play with them in each end as well. would drive like a go kart with 3

I got some pics to post, can't do it now as I'm still in crappy UK on a library computer with no card reader. You'll have to wait til Sunday...not a huge 1/5 presence there though, no harm, elcon, hormann or laut which was a shame...MCD, hurrax, himoto and fg were the only others and and of course HPI who had a 5b a t and NOTHING new as to be expected and nothing is planned was the answer to my inquiry. Nutech had the most 1/5 cars on disply followed by FG.... Alot of nitro and electric stuff and a stand with some real cool bikes that look real expensive.
Hottest babe's were at the hurrax stand and the miniture diecast stand with the full size lambo but i didn't get pics of them...:damn: wife will be seeing my pics when I get back so have to be careful:no:

Wow, well that stinks about HPI not having what people were talking about with something new. Just means Nutech will sell more products! So Moo, I gotta know, did you get to see the new MT5 or whatever the new truck is and see it in person and take some good pics? Also, any news on pricing for it?

Nurnberg 2010 toys show

It was a very successful show for Nutech Racing. In Nurnberg toys fair this year only Nutech presented more than 5 new cars in thr show( In fact we are first time attend Nurnberg fair, can say that we present over 10 different cars).

We have 200 new enquiries from the show, there were magazines and forums related people came to visit Nutech booth( although our booth location is far away from hall 7-rc model hall).

Ya Dino made a side pipe when he did the back pipe. I just didn'yt gret my hands on one yet as we were testing the rear, and I like the rear pipe. it balances the buggy.

I want my buggy wide like this one though... is the mt chassis the same as the buggy for length? I know the arms are wider and bigger shocks...

yep same length..i reckon MCD pipes might fit like samba and vrc or more than likely leopard/harm pipes cos the engine is more rearward

Any progress on production of this as a kit to bolt onto TBII? It'd be great to close the gap between chasis and shell, protects the servos a bit more. =)

The shocks, upper&lower arms, dog bones/CVD, are they the only bits that are different to TBII parts?
