Well I finally got a replacement dogbone so I could give the Mega Monster a decent work out (Breakage of the original driveshaft within 2 mins was entirely my fault but no time for details here).
I customer really really wanted to buy the MT body so I gave in hence the lack of a body:D

Looks good Mike!!

How did it handle for you?

Loved it, 4x4 is just so nice on the slippery stuff we have here. I remember trying to use my baja on that same track and it was just hopeless.
Jumps very nicely to as you can see.

i have to say the MT handles and jumps like a nitro LST...bloody awesome is the only way to descibe it...took a bit to get used to it after running my rampages for so long cos they require alot more input to get it right..the nutech i found you can just hit a jump WOT and then let off and it just does the rest for you..the balance is perfect

That was some nice air for sure, the MT is a natural in the air...
looks like you need an HPI air filter on there, I don't trust the stock ones especially with all the dust you got there

PSR Australia

Yeah the stock filter is a bit small and clogs up quickly but I wanted to run it out of the box stock as that is how the customers will run it. I will fit one of our 'Outlaw RC' filter assemblies before next run.

It was awsome powering through the scrubland, all you could see was the roof bobing up and down as it just powered through scrub that would have stopped a buggy straight away.

Can you tell us more about the pipe?

skip
02-07-2010, 07:38 AM
Sorry i didnt get a decent shot of this pipe, We have a local who has been doing baja pipes which he tested on his own car , they seem to go very well and they have been selling like Hotcakes here in Australia( available at PSR) .He has made a pipe for this Mt and a mates MCD Prototype only, But ithink he will do more in the future but at the moment he is setting up a dyno to get some better results b4 marketting anything else. Look out in the Future for these. Olimat Engineering very nicely made.

only hassle with the pipe as you can see is filling the tank is a bit harder, still can be done just had to tip the MT on its side. Version 2 of the pipe might be made higher up.
