Man that sucks Mark! I thought Nutech bodies would be far Superior to XRC ones and take a bit more bashing!

Yeah i reckon, and the worst part is i didn't even hit anything! that rear panel shattered from spinning out and touching the body on the ground, the front broke from being too low, and chattering on the ground.:omg:

Considering what you get in the rest of the car for the price this isn't really too bad. The front does have to be trimmed to suit the chosen ride height but the rear damage yeah thats a bit unexpected.

im trying to help you,i pmed you a few times about shell and i told you it needs to be lowered and trimmed to take all abuse from suspension.
man i know your upset about your shell but dont take it out on me,im in no way being smart here with you at all.
being part of a forum means that you have to take other peoples help & opinions onboard especially when they are trying to help you.

You said i didn't listen to you when in fact i did trim the body HEAPS, did you not look at the pics to see how that body shattered, the bodies are not good, and its something that needs to be addressed

yeah man i agree,i had same problem with my shell when i got mine first.
im not saying it was your fault man at all,i agree with you,the shells are quite soft.i thought you hadnt it trimmed much at all,but after looking through the pics you took quite a bit off there....
maybe nutech might consider a revised shell for GT5-R
my aplogies if my post sounded a little off...

shoe goo and drywall fibre tape to reinforce the weak areas. I'll be doing all the stress corners and wheelwells on mine when it gets here. you could even patch the broken part back on with it but you'll still see the damage. that sucks.
is the body not lexan but some other poly or plastic?

pipe good idea but the bodies on GT5-R are too brittle, small issue on an awesome comp car though in fairness.....

Prob not worth getting another Mustang body as it will just do the same, il prob end up getting an fg body, as i know they are tough, but for now il be using race tape on the stang.LOL

I am going to swap all the nutech parts to my fg comp chassis and put the semi body on. I'll probably end up selling what's left to fund my XT5 ;)
