I haven't even seen the buggy in person but Dino mentioned the chassis had a possibility of flex and maybe some angles on the chassis edges would help. then our very own mod Mike suggested why not make metal side guards for some strength. seems to make sense to me

I am going to bend some out of some 3/32 aluminum when I get a chance, mine will be screwed from the bottom, I don't like how it is screwed from the top, it makes getting them off impossible without removing the fuel tank.

I would like side guards too but the only Nutech dealer (CML) won't stock them in the UK!
Can we get the parts we want from Nutech direct?

I don't think so..You have many dealers around UK...

Yes but nowhere is yet stocked up, and it will take a while until sales of the FTX warrant shops holding significant stock.
Furthermore going by CML's prices, hop ups cost about 20-30% more in the UK than Europe.
Therefore can anyone recomend a European stockist that ships to the UK
and takes Paypal.

I've been talking to this guy, he carries all the spares and he is in France.
The check out says no delivery to the UK but I think thats just a problem with the site, waiting for a reply on shipping.
MMR in the UK said they will have a full spares list ASAP too.

Here's the side guards fitted, you need to make some 3mm spacers to put under the fuel tank mounting lugs, the guards have to slide under the tank, I also had to drill one hole to bolt the guard to the chassis as it was missing.
