FTX PUNISHER / NUTECH THUNDERBOLT radio box mod

this is the first proper mod i have done as i dont like the standard radio / battery box to fiddley and i prefer a larger battery so i junked the standard in favour of a hyper / hobao item . it is alot more secure and i bet gives better protection against water....

and the battery a 3300 nmh is now mounted more in the FG region. i made up a bracket thats bolted through the roll cage but i think i will scrap the cable ties and get some of the velcro strap's.

love the buggy i have got 1 tank through it and going to try to get a second this week so fingers crossed on sunday i will be taking it to a track for a bash around.....i have swapped the throtle servo for some thing with a bit more oooooomph in it SAVOX i beleave.....so we will see can CAR-KILLER kill it

I can only read as I have no personal knowledge yet of the box. I personally always run 3s lipos with a bec for my servos. I like lipo everything, even modding my radios to take lipos

I believe the next container of punishers will have all the new mods...batt box, steering screws, diff housings etc. I guess the first batch was sent out before all the updates were done
