Here's another mod for the steering arm, out of all the bits and pieces I have I couldn't find anything that worked so I had to improvise. This is what I came up with, metal ball joints, MCD shock shaft and a chunk of aluminum ha ha! I have no idea if it'll work but kept me busy for awhile making it LOL!
I've got a back up arm made from 1/10th scale nitro bits but it looked to weak so I desided to give this a go.

Why didn't you just re tap the threads on the shock shaft instead of the aluminum block thing or was there more to the block?

I used what I had, I don't have any dies only taps and drills. The aluminum block is nothing more than an extension to reach the steering rod. Like I said I have no idea if it'll work but I had to come up with something to get me by.

I did see why you needed to mod the steering, did some thing break?

Yes the stock steering arm kept bending up and I'd lose steering throw on one side plus the stock plastic ball ends have worn. I had to use that MCD shock shaft and Nutech metal ball ends cause it looked so sexy :p
LOL!

Looks good Scott. It looks like it might strengthen up the servo saver arm also.
