From what I have been told the MT comes with AA batteries...does everyone find that this application to work well? If not have you guys gone to a C battery conversion?

Thanks

I wouldn't run a nitro on aa's let alone a 5th scale with huge servos. I cut my battery box some and I use a 3s lipo with a 10 amp bec. if you have fillowed my thread at all, you will see my servos draw huge amounts of power. I just replaced them both with Hitecs...

There aren't AA's. lol

You need to run a HPI hump pack. I am running a 4800 in mine.

Nope, you were given some incorrect information. You need a HPI 6v hump pack. Who told you that?

The dealer I bought it from...but there may have been some misunderstanding in the conversation...I will double check with him

It did seem unlikely to me that AA would be used in the car...Once I get it in my hands im sure that I will be able to answer all my questions on my own

I also use the same hump pack as in my HPI Baja Jay. I added a FG radio box to the top of the battery box for the receiver and wires. This way they aren't too tight in the one box.
