Heads up guys i had a run out with the PUNIBOLT a couple of weeks ago with cabbie and yes the track was muddy but not wet and grass winding on to the rear drive safts was a small probleme..well yesterday i was in the work shop having a tinker and i found the rear inner wheel bearings were absolutley solid..this was after a strip down and wipe over to get every thing clean after the bash...so watch the inners they will seaze and the axle will then run inside the bearing...i have just had delivered 16 x 608rr bearings and as there rubber i have popped the seals out and packed a little more grease inside now all is well...........

The only place I use metal shielded bearings are for the clutch bell (better heat dissapation) otherwise I use rubber shielded as they are more resistant to dirt ingress and easily servicable.

The wheel bearings are the same size as skateboard bearings, there's loads to choose from on ebay.

Yep, they're good.

I use these for the axles as with the nylon cages they corrode less and are very free running, plus they're green !!

Buy the Vertigo bearing set. I have the set mostly installed in my MT. All the bearings, great price.
