the centre diff gave up on me on sunday
phoned mmr to order a new gear set and was told they only sell the complete diff as there isnt a gear set available on its own
does anyone know where i can get just the internal gears ?
dont see the point of spending 70 quid for a whole diff i dont need :surprise:

that's a new one
which gears went the ring and pinion or internals?
if internal did it have the washer shims in? 2 behind each outdrive gear and one behind eack spider gear.
stock ring and pinion set is part #057537 and the internal gears are availbale and are same as f/r diff internals part #057502
and holy cack...gordon gouges again...complete diffs are $70 this side of the pond
I forgot to add..i believe the first batch that were ordered by CML didn't have the upgraded diff cases...the new ones have a big metal insert for the bearing to ride on...as i understand it CML will replace the earlier case upon failure for nowt

here you go diff gears at MMR
http://www.mmrlargescale.co.uk/shop/product/diff_gears/
Check the four screws holding the diff case regularly, I've had these back out slightly which losens the mesh.
