So I get that they are fairly similar, use same size shocks, and so on... but besides width/stance are there any other differences?
I am about to order a 5b from daves... but now that the nutechs are almost in stock... and I'm so indecisive... I'm going crazy!!!
I know the nutechs are 4wd and so on... I'm not comparying them but man It is a tough choice...

Well Shervy - as an owner of a 5b and 5t, and now a TB2. I can honestly say Nutech all the way in terms of what make to choose.

Design wise, it's whole lot more advanced and although I haven't even used the TB2 and don't own a MM (yet) so can't feedback on the model (as Moo has) but If I'd had known about the MM, I would have definitely got that instead of the t.

Not knock in my b or t, great cars and I love 'em to bits - but the Nutech's are tough competition and they're gaining quick. As more and more Hpi owners start to crave 4WD, the'll be heading this way for sure.

Just an opinion that may help.

You are comparing two totally different machines, the HPI Baja series is extremely popular and for good reason.

I know their different... rwd single diff low ground clearance buggy versus a MT. I don't really care for buggies but the baja would have been my 2nd one plus the main reason why I considered a baja 5b is because of the backing from HPI and its presence in local hobby shops. The fact that I can walk in and get any part for for break fix work is huge but I know I'll be unhappy. I dislike Rwd (especially correcting it in the air) and I enjoy the benefit of the Monster truck ground clearance/4wd.

Does not matter now since i'm ordering the MMT. I just need to know which parts i need to stock up on :P
