My new track ( debut run )

To some this may the usual place where i run BUT i am after getting the go ahead from the owner to use as a track when i want it. :excited: so i set up track today with some cones and done some time trials, here is the maiden voyage.OF COURSE i need to bring some more markers next time and some little jumps.

next time you see a vid it will feature a lot of largescale models from around ireland.:gun bandana:
for 2010 i plan on big events both on/offroad,with display areas for all models...some guys i hope from the MMR forum will join me here in my next vids.:top secret:

this vid is my warm up run,and man is this beetle a peach.

who says too much power is bad,too much is never enough! lol

MMR sponsers a lot of the guys that i will be meeting here so maybe they may offer to sponser the event,we will see what happens there.we will try to get as many banners from as many as possible really and make it a great event.

yeah man somehow something is telling me we will be side by side racing someday,why not man,you sure are welcome to come and make a weekend of it anytime,some on & offroad racing.....few more here too around we could gather up a lot of us for a huge bash day.

that baja of yours looks damm wicked fast man,my beelte is geared for brute low down power,in the above vid i uped the clutch pinion to 18t to tame the low down response a little ie less wheelies........mmm didnt seem to make much differnce as its still a psycho low down hah lolLOL

Excellent stuff, going round a track (even an oval) is so much more fun than bashing (IMO)

Furthermore it improves your driving skills no end, anyone can jump high or go fast in a straight line, but getting round a track quickly takes skill.

im getting to know a load of people now from differnt parts of the globe through the forums and a team of MMR guys are meeting up with me very soon for a big days running.

man i 100percent agree with you,you dont need jumps or anything rough this is much better fun,you can go much faster,imagine a few machines here doing lap times competing...........

i will never again take this beetle jumping too much or on sand,too costly for repairs.......this track though is what it was made for,so much fun powering out of corners with 2wd.

man do get your self over sometime!

nice,i see in the comment on your vid you need more track markers,an idea i came up with is old 10ltr plastic paint bucket lids ,they are flat so if you hit one the dont go flying,easy to store and big enough to see from quite a distance :good idea:

Someone was bound to say something. Being an ass comes easy to me.. so why not haha. And I was a hockey goalie for many years. and played in bar bands for years. I don't think anyone could offend me and I have embarrassed myself publicly in front of big crowds I don't get embarrassed anymore

I haven't done much more than carry the car around to show my friends... Scott is about to get a few emails though. I just got my parts and have been thinking about the paint and body mounts.

anyway... good on you for securing land for a track. can't wait to see what you build and pics of the track's progress...

are you going to build a drivers' stand? will there be a timing system? is there power or will you use a generator? do you have watering plans for keeping the dust down? what is the track going to be, dirt or grass?
