Just opened the box and I was very impressed. The shocks...wow...and how light it is.
Gonna post pics and make this a minor build thread. Have an ESP 30.5 + Laut 4 shoe clutch going in, need to decide on the jetpro or the propipe, but if I go with the propipe have to convince moo to make me a bracket! :good idea:
Anyways I got her from Scott @ vancouver hobbies, was great to deal with and I couldn't be happier.
Scott get that site updated I need to make a wish list! :party time:
Talk soon everyone!

Glad to hear your happy, make sure to take lots of pics of your build. 30.5 and pipe will make it a beast that's for sure, I am very happy with the stock 26 and pipe, it's quicker and faster than my other 4x4's by a long shot!
Site's been updated, shop till you drop now! :party time:

we will have to hook up sometime to do some bashing man, maybe make a trip to the island carpool style too.
I think I have a place lined up for some grass track racing. I also hope full throttle raceway adds some turns to their track this year. it's basically an oval
Congrats on your arrival, sounds like some nice parts.

I can make a bracket if you need one if you decide on a propipe

Thanks Moo! Listen, i'm having a problem the truck won't steer full lock to lock; I disconnected the servo and tried to steer it myself but it gets 'stuck'.
Can you help?

Is it possible the front drive shafts are binding? Try putting the truck on the ground and see if you can get full steering.

That's exactly what it is, if i crank the steering to the way that wont 'work' and hold it there and then spin the wheels it will loosen up and turn that way.
Youtube vid comming up.

Started with an RTR MT:

- 30.5 ESP with Lauterbacher 4 shoe installed
Still deciding on a pipe!

Can't fool you. LOL
It looks good with the Nutech stickers on it.
Are you going to snatch up one of those Natural JetPro's?

I'm thinkin about it, but I don't like how it cuts across the front. I may get a silenced VRC (they are on sale at DDM) and try to convince moo to make a mount for me!

how tight are your dogbones...if they're binding maybe the neg camber is too much and pushing the inner diff cup against the case..the diff cups slide so should not be tight against the case...take off the turnbuckles at the hub arms and try each hub and the servo saver side as well to eliminate the cause piece by piece..after watching the vids i'd bet at least one bone is too tight....also if poss can you download into photobucket so Chris and Ethan can see the vids you post as it is the only image server that is allowed in China
the pipe at DDM isn't a pro or big bore but just the standard VRC..they're both a bit long for the nuey and need a section chopping out whereas the pro fits perfect and is VRC's best pipe...and if you want amount making i can fab one up with an integral brace for the stock cage or after I fab one up for roninx i can make you a full cage:punk:

OK i fixed it. The dog bones seem to be a touch too long they have absolutely no play in them. I had one o-ring on each side (inner and outer) on both sides.
Here is what i did:
- removed the o-rings
- took the camber way, way out to loosen up the play.
Here are some videos:
Before I loosened up the camber:

Orings removed and camber slightly backed out:

Finished Product:

Here is a picture of the new 'camber' i put into it:
http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c170/roccos_van/Nutech%20MEGA%20MT/IMG00086-20100325-1919.jpg
So the only thing I can think of is that the dog bones are just a hair too long?

i guess I should delete my post cos you beat me to it...you should have only one oring in the diff cup and not the out drive cup..looks like you got 2 too many

Is it supposed to do this:
Yes, the front and rear diff cups have springs in the inside to help keep some pressure against the dogbones.

They are inside the cups where the dog bone sits.
