Well, I've got to go to work in the US of A for the next month :( which is a pain cos it stops me getting my teeth into racing my new Nutech PRO Thunderbolt II (kept that quiet didn't I !!! lol:excited:)
Because of work I'm gonna miss the first UK Large Scale Off road meet, which is near Nottingham on Sunday. By the way if anyone is interested, if you wanna go watch (Highly recomended Largescale cars are great even if your just watching lol) or race and haven't got a clue where the track is or how to go about things let me know or post here. Nottingham off road track is a great facility, has a massive track and will give you a good insight into racing these beasts.
On the first of May, when I get back, watch this space for some great news for Off Road car racers and bashers of all scales. But the best news of all will be for Large Scale Off Road Racers :punk::top secret:
I'll have to see if i can find some cool shops on your side of the pond to get my fix lol.

Hi Nige, long time no see. I'm looking forward to seeing the new car but I've got England lacrosse training on Sunday so I won't be a notts but there will be other opertunities. It would be good if I knew someone who sells/is going to be selling these things to give me a team drive.... you never know - it's happened before.

p.s have fun at work.:punk:

For "chugging pies" read CARB loading! it works for me although my coach doesn't agree (a marlboro and a pint at half time doesn't go down too well either :yahoo:)

Thats the plan, I still need a few major bits but next year will be a dedicated toy car year where (if EFRA sort themselves out) i'll be doing club, BRCA and EFRA meetings.

There are four FTX Punishers booked in to race tomorrow.
So worth going for a look at them go round the track and see if they can beat the MCD's. Wish I was there :(

The guy with no vehicle listed, might be running a Punibolt. If its the same guy I'm thinking about, he's sponsored by CML.
Only 8 entries for 4x4 Outlaw class vs. 32 entries for 2wd class.
Can't wait to see how Punibolt performs against MCD's!!:boxing:

Yeah 2wd is and always has been more popular. Mainly because there hasn't been a reliable 4wd car produced unill now :punk:
If the TBII is as reliable as it seems to be to me at the mo I think there will a big rise in the numbers of 4wd racers.
Just had a call from my mate trackside at notts. Sounds like there is gonna be a very interesting days racing tomorrow :)

Oh I see, but doesn't 4wd's handle better?
Can't wait till tomorrow, "O darling, just going to get the papers...." LOL

Lol you should nip down for sure, you just might see a Nutech PRO TB II if you look around :surprise::top secret:
Yes 4wd handle way better and IMO are way more fun, but in the past they have been very unreliable. If you go to the race tomorrow and watch how the top drivers sling the 2wd cars round and the beating they can take it'll make sense.
I think the future is 4wd though, just need a car and car maker to take up the challenge :)
