Hooked up my 3PM and fried my steering servo

Got another Futaba Rx today and hooked up my 3PM and it fired my steering servo...Hooked up a HPI servo to the new Rx with no issues...My Tx is set to none digital mode....any hints on why this happened??? this sucks!!!! what servo can I replace it with??? the HPI ones dont fit

are the hpi ones same size as the hitecs/ rhinos? I got a digi4 for steering to fit ok and a hitec 5745 for th/br (both the same size cases and are standard 1/4 size servos)....the lugs get stretched out a touch when you put in the screws but nothing major

Moo HPI are larger than HITEC/RHINO.

Hpi does not work for sure even their smaller ones...to long when laid down...I took the digi from my B and put it in there..works great

Hard to tell from the video is that the 15KG servo or the 18KG servo ?

The stock I just took delivery of this week have the 15KG Smartech Servos thats why I ask.

That is the 18Kg my bad luck I guess to get supplied with the last of the servos before the upgrade. I will be sending out a new 15Kg servo today to make sure that Fat J is taken care.

I'm with you fatjay, Willy is a great guy. I had an issue with my servo and some other issues and he has sent me out a brand new servo on the same day. :-)
