Looks like it fits a lot better than the supplied body. Still needs work around the wheel wells. Maybe just a tad longer? Look at the MCD bodies and the way they fit, they have spent a lot of time making sure it was perfect.

Like it has a newer aero look to it. just as a personal option i would like to see if you could mount it a little further to the front, The front wheel wells seem to be too far behind the actual wheels.

I agree with the guys above. Looks like it fits better and lower, I deff. prefer the look and fit of this one over the other ones. Will it be offered in clear?

I think its time for a new truck body, like Bentley marshall said they all look the same.
I hate to say it but mcd did do something right with there truck body.
lets go do something new Nutech, mt don't always have to have flat backs.

There is realy nothing wrong witht he old body, just the back needs to be alittle longer so the wheels look like htey'd fit int he wheel wells.

I do like this body very much though.

5 minutes in photoshop and I think it looks more like it fits the truck, I slid the body forward, stretched the back a bit so the wheel wells line up with the wheels and stretched the cab a little so the truck bed wasnt so long.

Lol that Max D body would look pretty sick too :-), thanks guys I to have been looking for a MT body that actually fits right and looks like it was meant to be there and not just something that covers part of the truck. Lower sides I thing would be good to, I like the idea on the 5T body where the bottom sides of the body are actually fastened to the plastic side guards with body mounts and clips sure keeps the crap out of the under body better. I would also like to see some kind of support for the cab as that's a lot of free open space for the body to flex when it rolls over something like the top extension on the roll cage of the 5T which adds extra support to the under body as its so far away from the cage.

I would like to see something along these lines and make it fit the truck correctly

nope :D didn't want to risk a gazillion dollars on the hurrax/tamiya body...I've heard the hurrax bodies aren't too tough and i couldn't find dimensions to see if it would fit without looking goofy

all will be revealed in the next fews days:punk: is going to look real cool is all i can say and it's quite a rare beast even on the donor rc model

here it is just sitting on the top...should be able to get it an inch lower or so and am considering chopping off the roof and riveting a piece of alu plate on to cover the hole and making a plastic and steel roll cage


I think it'll look cool once it's done...biggest psser is i left it at gas jockey's so can't start work on it

Looks nice Moo, I like the Jeep body. I actually have one of those bodies but it is not for my Nutech, it is going on my FG Baja Comp. I am converting it into a Monster Jeep for bashing as the Baja set up is more for the track. I look forward to seeing your MT when it is all finished. Do you have an ideal of how you are going to paint it? I think I am going to try and do a camo theme.
