I just purchased a set of the second ones for the MT from Zero Gravity. They have a ton of meat on them. Not as wide as the ones that come on it originally though!

I like the first set of tyres Chris.
Are they for a narrow wheel or the standard TB II wheel?

Hey Chris,
At this exact moment in time I'm in Miami, moving on to Tampa tomorrow then Orlando Sunday. Monday I've got a day off in Orlando. So it's either Disneyland, Universal or go model shop hunting lol
I'm flying home from Mexico on the 24th and going racing on the 25th at KORT for the BRCA National:punk:
I'll make a post either today or tomorrow about what I've done to race prep the PRO TB II Sorry I've not had time to do pics or make a video, I will reveal all, I think you know why I've been busy these last few weeks apart from having to work this month :punk::dance::top secret:

Bentley she's also good for about 1/4billion when mummy and daddy die;)
how about some paddles while we're talking option tires, slightly taller and an inch or so wider than the HPI ones:punk:...preferably on beadlock wheels

Have there been any discussions about a beadlock yet? Somthing simular to the HPI style. I hate glued tires, if a foam fails all is junk, if a rim breaks all is junk. I know it is possible to seperate the tire from the rim I have successfully done it. It would be the first FG style square with a beadlock, I am posative many would utalize the rim.

they're the xrc wheels...not heard too many great things about their durabilty.
i'd also like to see a straight sidewall MT tire...with the rounded lippy sidewall it allows the tires, mostly on the front of mine, to grow into dinner plates a la original savage tires :scared:

i used to run them on my fs 4x4 only ever striped one square ....but i did spend more time fixing the P O S than driving it

When I was an RC Pro director, I had contacted FS before they were even selling stuff over here. They had a cool little quad. I wanted to get a bunch. We started talking about me helping test and fix, then they wanted me to buy bulk and become a dealer... I watched the vids they did of the mt and the flex in those rims was horrible. looked like styrofoam rims
FG F1 tires should work awesome on the tb2. I was considering converting mine to an on road 4wd with the cooper body and some f1 tires

When the front tyres balloon somewhat, does it mean the inserts have had it?
I'm guessing the rears don't as there's more load on them, but was wondering the front ballooning tyres means the inserts have had it?

Not at all, it means that the center diff is unloading most of the power to the front tires. What oil/grease do you have in your center diff?

Err, not gotten that far yet. It's stock at the moment.

Now you'll know where to look when you do. ;)
It shouldn't cause any problems with the tires and foams, let us know if it does though. Then we can all keep an eye on it.

my tb2 does the same thing... with stock grease in there it almost feels like it's a front wheel drive. I am trying 100k in the center...

That's it pip, that's how it feels.
I'm having to tweak the brake bias towards the rear, but then out of tight radius turns, I plant it at the apex, then it just doesn't want to get around.
Like to set it up a bit more 60% power to the rear wheels, can you guys advice a diff oil for front, centre and rear?
Cheers =)

im running 100,000 in the front 100,000 in the center and 50,000 in the rear
