View Full Version : Punibolt Servo Saver Set - Anywhere in UK?
I've killed my Servo Saver during a vigorous session at the track this morning.
I'm wondering if I might be as well getting the Pro Ally one rather than risk the plastic one again.
Is there anywhere in the UK who is Stocking them?
Cheers

One car broke it's alloy saver during the first race this year at Notts & Derby.
Think Wheelspin and Podium RC have them.

Some has used NKIS (French Nutech/FTX distributor).
I'm after some stock wheels/tyres to replace a rounded wheel square, are you keeping your stock ones?
Let us know how you got on with ordering servo saver parts. =)
Will do.
CML are so slow and they dont seem to respond to web sales very well. I cant wait that long. I supose I should have mentioned that in the first post. Ho Hum.
I saw the pix of the broken ally one. I think it needs ribs down the sides rather than just jutting out. That would prolly sort it.
Cheers for the links.. I'll give them a shout tomorrow.
I'll chance the Ally one and see how I go.
It's a big difference though.. £4 vs £40 :o
I use FG Wheels and Hormann tyres.
Work a charm and the offset seems bang on.
Once I get the Servo Saver I'll post some pix of my current setup.
Body shell took a beating this weekend too. Usual Front section.
I DO adise the foam idea in other threads. It will help a lot.
I have had to re-enforce my front section with a Lexan strip shaped the same as the shell and used Savox Servo Hex n nuts to tie it all together. Looks ok.

Just used CML / Shopatron last week (looks like Wheelspin order parts in and don't like the idea of Podium's stocking as stated on their site), pretty good - took 1 or 2 days more than from others - not bad at all. Maybe they're getting better with FTX stuff. Good luck.
Cheers Mexxan,
You may be right. The last time I ordered from them was when I first got my Punisher.
I've dropped CML an email for availability and see what I get back :)
I might get an Ally one and a plastic for the Box just in case.
For the sake of £4 I'd rather have a spare than have to go home with a face on LOL

I'd also like to see a body mount behind the front shock tower instead of in front. just too much force on he thinnest section of the body.
I just ordered the alloy servo saver myself. the plastic one is flexing now that I beefed up the other parts...

Think I saw one of the National racer's turned the front body mount around, but has revereted back to the orginal mount configuration. Wonder if the nose section became too floppy?
I've done that foam mod you've done Pipe, everything is good =)

That's excellent news, and only good for the brand and UK racers.
