Really pleased:

Spoke with CML this morning, and they're sending my replacement knuckles (version 2) plus fixings, and diff drive cups. Credit to them at a discount.

What is confusing is when one finds that these (due to a design issue or materials) parts are not up to scratch and yes, replacements offered but not free of charge.

I do understand that companies have a business to run, but maybe I've misunderstood the term warantee and guarantee when I learned this language many years ago..

Bottom line, I've got some replacements coming..and I can get back to having fun and learning about working on these awesome kits.:punk:

CML should be replacing the drive cups free of charge as the originals were not up to par, however the steering set up is an upgraded part, the oringinal set up does work OK (but it should really have come with shouldered bolts that were slightly larger diameter at the shoulder and the shoulder a tad longer so it cinched down tight against the threads) so isn't what could be deemed as really a faulty part so imo i wouldn't think warantee is really valid with that.
the idea has been put for a reasonably priced update kit for 2009 tb2's to 2010 spec which i think is a very good idea.

Look forward to the 2010 kit though. Hope it gets the green light soon.
