Well technically the Pro is the best being mostly alloy and with all factory hot ups fitted, then the SS comes in 2nd with a healthy list of alloy and factory upgrades added. The rtr is the base plastic model but what is best for you depends, the top spec alloy model may not be the best for what you want out of the car and the price your willing to pay. I would consider the SS to be the best setup for racing.

For racing I liked a light car. Plastic is what you want. Cheap to fix, light, and flexable. All good things. Upgrade to aluminum bits like the clutch carrier, Diff cases and engine mounts.
That being said, I sure like the look of all aluminum.

I was guided by my wallet more than anything. I have the RTR and I think it is a great car for the $$. I like to race more than bash. I have been happy with the car's performance and handling when I have been up against all types of cars. No major issues except a loose nut or two, oh and the steering servo gave out one day. If you have enough $$ than go for the SS (not an option when I got my car) or the Pro. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I just got a Jetpro pipe today. I can't wait for the next meeting! :yahoo:
No money isnt a issue
i was thinking that i might buy the pro and then replace the metal arms for plastic ones to take away some weight
it cant be any heavier then my fg competition baja
