ftx punisher fuel ratio

just looking at fuel ratios and noticed the manual recommends 40:1 will this be ok to run at as iv been told its a very lean oil mix, it has the stock cy 23cc engine in it.

any help appreciated

i run 25:1 on all my motors and good mx bike race oil

You can run it on any ratio you like, higher the ratio, higher the performance..but at the cost of engine life. =(

32:1 here with belray H1R, tried 25:1 running this oil and neither my 30.5 or 27.2 liked it...fouled the plugs and stuttered at WOT..belray recommend 50:1 but as my OBR motors are revving at 18 for the 30.5 and 20K for the 27.2i err on the side of caution and dump in as much as i can while keeping the egine clean running

Run mine at 40:1 on fully synthetic Silkolene oil.

I also run 25:1 using Klotz. DDM now carries Klotz specifically designed for use in RC cars.

Shell V-Power fuel and 25:1 here.. Stock engine loves it!

normaly run 2% prepared eco-friendly, non smoking fuel from Stihl.
Yesterday I tried the real mixed stuff, with 1/50 (also 2%) and it looked my engine had more power.

But it smoked and smelled alot...LOL

Yes, i use ipone oils.


I heard that SHELL Advance Racing X 2T is best oil.
But must use only in warm weather!
