C-Hub to Hub Conversion

I know someone converted the C-Hub fixing to the Hub to Bearings and I'd like to know what size bearings were used and what hex screw / nut was used?

I've lost yet another today and I'm sick of it so I'm gonna convert it to bearings to try and avoid this again.

it was isle of wight basher who came up with it, i followed and we both had the bearings collapse...they're small 8x5x3...4 regular and 4 flanged...ordered from rcbearings...though it made the steering perfect unfortunately they're not beefy enough to take the weight and forces of the truck so fail within a few tanks. there is an FG spherical bearing mod also posted here but at $28 each and 4 needed my wallet stayed closed...
Was looking on the parts walls at Vancouver hobbies yesterday and spotted something though, i'm hoping to do a spherical mod mod that uses a bearing sourced from ...hopefully...something else...i'll post it if i can get the bearings out of the place they currently reside without damaging them:top secret:

Have you tried the updated chub screw kit?? I know that works.

it's the bolt itself is the problem. the unthreaded area isn't long enough. I just cut some old exhaust header bolts off and re tapped threads down. without that extra unthreaded part you are tightening the stock bolts down against the bushing and turning loosens them off.
