    Default My new Redcat Rally!

I got this from Scott at Vancouver Hobbies so figured I could at least show the pics... it came with a subaru body. bud that we were running with had some bodies left from the old days (he also has tons of on road tires). he pulls out a body, this car is 512mm wb, and I see the mercedes clk gtr. I say dam, that's 535 wide... looks small though... laid it on top and holy smokes it's the right wheelbase. they don't even make this body anymore. I still owe george some money. sold my venom to a guy there and was a bit short... but he let me take it.

I still can't get over it fitting. I also picked up a complete uncut fg front bumper for the gt5r

it's going to have color for sure. I am working like a madman right now and fixing up the other toys to get them running first in my spare time. most of the pics I saw on google were silver but that's too boring. never done checkered parts on an rc yet. front lower clip will have a carbon section, probably a carbon wing... when I get to the lhs and look at paint, I'll decide on some colors. I honestly couldn't really afford to buy the body as I still need a motor but when I saw it fit, I had to have it.

haha, it's my 4wd road car now. I am swapping a castle bec in tonight as I have been getting an odd glitch. I have changed batteries, throttle/brake servo, steering servo. all that's left is the bec, rx and kill switch.

work is finally slowing down to a maneagable level. I actually just finished off a job today, fixed another and came home to clean my own carpets for a third time... ripped all the plastic out too. the animal smell in this beast surely has sith force... I have work booked tomorrow but I know it's going to rain so I can just hang out here and tinker with the toys for sunday
