    Default Any news on the revised outer diff cases?

    Just curious about getting a couple, I didn't want to run my MT without installing it. I just don't want to destroy another crown/pinion.

    the front never gave me trouble and the cnc rear case has sorted the rear for me,

    I have a hard time justifying a aluminum case int he rear. Lots of $$$.

    I'm gonna drop one in soon as I can, I've been through two diff gears, one plastic diff gear box, two sets of diff cups (not related, went through two sets of front diff cups too). And now the rear diff housing is starting to warp too. =(

    It just makes financial sense to do it..if that diff housing holds up that is...

    I'd be tempted to the plastic alternative (slightly cheaper than the alloy one..), if it's strong and stiff enough.
